DESCRIPTIONAs part of the Snap Design Academy’s core curriculum, I had an hour long conversation with one of my peers, Joshua. From this interview, I created a set of personalized images that were high contrast and used energetic lines. I played with texture as well, creating a bitmap mouse in motion.
RESEARCH
I interviewed Joshua to discover what his interests and general vibe for before I started sketching.
He sometimes wishes it was possible for someone to look inside his head, because he can feel misunderstood.
Although he’s mostly quiet and a little awkward, the inside of his head is a fast, chaotic car chase overlayed with jazz. His sketchbooks are filled with dynamic figures and city scapes. In ten years, he hopes to live by himself and drive a car.
